Are Mac poker players any different from their PC rivals? Is there anything unique about the poker playing style and strategy of Mac poker players when compared to non Mac poker players? I often ask myself these questions and I’m still not sure I know the answers. I do believe that more often than not, Mac poker players tend to be more calculated and logic than the average PC Joe. From my experience, Mac poker players take less unnecessary risks and generally play it safe. It’s a generalization, I know, but, still, I’ve seen it time and again and you can’t argue with something you’ve witnessed for years. I started playing Mac poker back in 2005 and I’ve play with countless online players. I can’t recall playing against many Mac poker players who were too loose and/or were into seeing the flop more than they should have. Of course being a Mac poker player doesn’t necessarily make you a great poker player. Sure, you can buy you computer at an Apple store and suck balls in poker, but when you look at the big picture, Mac poker players are simply smarter and sharper players than the average online poker dude.
